to make you feel safe, informed and well-cared for at every stage of your hospitalization.
Correct patient identification aims to reliably determine the patient for whom the service or treatment is intended and ensures the avoidance of errors during your hospitalization.
Patient identification is ensured throughout the hospitalization period by using a wristband, which must include the patient’s full name, patronymic, date of birth, date of admission and the attending physician, and is in full accordance with the patient’s information sheet issued by the Clinic’s Operations Office and consistent with the printed barcode.
The patient’s identity is always confirmed by checking the wristband during each nursing procedure, such as measuring vital signs, administering medications, venipuncture and blood sampling and taking other samples for clinical tests, blood transfusion, and preparation for surgery.
At Psychiko Clinic, we believe that family and friends contribute significantly to the patient’s treatment. For this reason, the visiting room is designed to ensure the safety, tranquility and smooth functioning of the patient’s care.

Understanding insurance company procedures
The required procedures begin from the moment we are informed of your scheduled visit or admission. It is advisable to contact your insurance company before coming to the Group’s Clinics in order to be informed about the health services covered by your contract.
Make sure that your personal physician is aware of your visit to the Clinic. Your insurance company may request a referral document from your physician.
The Patient Accounting Department informs you about the services that are not covered by your insurance, as well as the estimated cost of hospitalization. In some cases, you may be asked to make a deposit upon admission, based on the estimated length of stay.
Inpatient Charges
Patients who have been admitted to the hospital (inpatients) receive separate bills for services such as room charges, meals, medical supplies, laboratory and imaging tests, and separate bills for medical services, which include fees for medical and surgical procedures, costs related to review and evaluation by physicians, and laboratory tests.
Outpatient Charges
Patients treated in the Clinics’ outpatient departments receive invoices for some services, which include charges for tests or procedures performed during the visit.
Billing Rights and Obligations
Not all costs may be covered by your insurance company. Informing us about your insurance coverage will ensure that your bill is sent to your insurance company in a timely manner for coverage. Charges not covered by your insurance company are covered by the patient.
Payment Methods
The bill can be paid with cash (up to €500), personal check or any credit card.
Hospital bills can be paid 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Patient Accounting Department on the day of the patient’s discharge and before receiving the discharge certificate.
