During your stay at Peristeri Hospital, you will be under the care of a specialized and multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, who work closely together to provide you with the best medical and nursing support.

This team includes:

Attending doctor:

Responsible for the overall coordination of your treatment and monitoring your progress.

Specialist doctor:

Specialized in the condition you are facing and a partner of the therapist in designing your treatment plan.

Head/Responsible Nurse:

He works closely with the medical team and ensures that the treatment plan is implemented correctly and consistently.

Nurses:

They care for you daily, administer your medications, and guide you through post-discharge care.

Clinical pharmacist:

Monitors your medication regimen and collaborates with the team for the safe and correct administration of medications.

Depending on your needs, other specialized professionals may also be involved in your care, such as a Dietitian, for your nutrition and support through a special diet, and Paramedical staff, such as physiotherapists and technologists.

All healthcare professionals on your team have a common goal:
to make you feel safe, informed and well-cared for at every stage of your hospitalization.

Discharge

Your discharge date from the Psychiko Clinic will be decided by your attending physician, who will inform the nurses about your discharge and give you the necessary instructions for your recovery. Discharges are scheduled until 11:00 a.m. unless the attending physician decides for medical reasons to extend your stay.

On this day, you or your companion will be asked to go to the Patient Accounting Office to settle your financial obligations and receive your discharge. If there is no relative or friend to take care of your transportation, the clinic staff will arrange for this by calling a taxi.

In the event that your physician deems it necessary to transport you by ambulance, you can contact the Head of the nursing floor to schedule your transportation via the Clinic’s ambulance.
