ATHENS MEDICAL GROUP: Silver Distinction and Best New Entry in the Corporate Responsibility Index cr index 2019 – 2020
Athens 10 July 2020 – The Athens Medical Group received theSilver distinction, within the framework of the evaluation process of the companies that participated in the CR Index 2019-2020, while at the same time, it was also distinguished as the Best New Entry.
This particular distinction is the culmination of the overall strategy that the Athens Medical Group has been following for 36 years. Adapting its operation, in accordance with the principles provided by International forums, such as those of the Corporate Responsibility Index, it implements, every year, a multi-level Corporate Social Responsibility action plan, with the main axes of Society, Employees, Quality of services and the Environment.
Supporting society with patients, vulnerable groups and the wider community as recipients, ensuring a safe and fair working environment that respects people and promotes efficiency, the continuous upgrading of medical services and the adoption of the most sustainable practices that contribute to reducing the Group’s environmental footprint, are the fundamental values of the Group’s corporate governance. The Corporate Responsibility Institute, with 12 years of presence in Greece, is a Civil Non-Profit Company that exclusively represents the Corporate Responsibility Index (CR INDEX) in Greece, in collaboration with Business in the Community (BITC), the recognized British body, under the presidency of the Prince of Wales, which is one of the leading Non-Profit Organizations active in the field of CSR and promotes Responsible Entrepreneurship.
