We recommend that you check the coverage rate before your admission.
On the day of your arrival and in some cases you may be asked to make a deposit upon admission, based on the estimated length of hospital stay.

Hospitalization
Your health team
During your stay at Peristeri Hospital, you will be under the care of a specialized and multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, who work closely together to provide you with the best medical and nursing support.
This team includes:
Responsible for the overall coordination of your treatment and monitoring your progress.
Specialized in the condition you are facing and a partner of the therapist in designing your treatment plan.
He works closely with the medical team and ensures that the treatment plan is implemented correctly and consistently.
They care for you daily, administer your medications, and guide you through post-discharge care.

Depending on your needs, other specialized professionals may also be involved in your care, such as a Dietitian, for your nutrition and support through a special diet, and Paramedical staff, such as physiotherapists and technologists.
All healthcare professionals on your team have a common goal:
to make you feel safe, informed and well-cared for at every stage of your hospitalization.
Correct patient identification aims to reliably determine the patient for whom the service or treatment is intended and ensures the avoidance of errors during your hospitalization.
Patient identification is ensured throughout the hospitalization period by using a wristband, which must include the patient’s full name, patronymic, date of birth, date of admission and the attending physician, and is in full accordance with the patient’s information sheet issued by the Clinic’s Operations Office and consistent with the printed barcode.
The patient’s identity is always confirmed by checking the wristband during each nursing procedure, such as measuring vital signs, administering medications, venipuncture and blood sampling and taking other samples for clinical tests, blood transfusion, and preparation for surgery.
After your discharge, you have the opportunity to receive a copy of your Medical File, as well as the diagnostic tests performed during your hospitalization.
The receipt is made upon a signed request from the patient himself or his legal representative, upon presentation of the necessary legal documents, depending on the case (e.g. a certificate of marital status for a minor, a court decision for a legal guardian, authorization for a third party or lawyer).
The request can be submitted in the following ways:
By physical presence at the Medical Records Department.
Electronically, via a Responsible Declaration from www.gov.gr and sent to the email: arxeioper@iatriko.gr
For any questions, the staff of the Medical Archives Department is at your disposal. The archive department is located in Building B, ground floor.
