Athens Medical Center: 17th Employee Voluntary Blood Donation
Athens, January 27, 2021 – The Athens Medical Center is organizing the 17th Voluntary Blood Donation of Hospital employees on Thursday 28 & Friday 29 January 2021, in collaboration with the Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas”.
The 17th voluntary blood donation was planned to be carried out on two (2) consecutive dates, strictly following the precautionary measures to avoid concurrency of volunteer blood donors.
Due to reduced voluntary offerings and increased needs, the contribution of all of us is important. For this purpose, Athens Medical Center and its employees extend an invitation to participation to the general public, in order to maximize the benefits of the action.
Athens Medical Group emphasizes that in all Hospital Blood Donation Services, as well as in mobile blood donation teams, all necessary measures are being taken to avoid the spread of the SARS – CoV – 2 virus and protect the health of blood donors.
Blood Donation Dates: Thursday, January 28, 2021 & Friday, January 29, 2021
Location: Athens Medical Center, Distomou 1-3, Conference Room – Building E’
Hours: 12:00 – 17:00.
