Da Vinci Robotic Systems
The Athens Medical Group serves as a benchmark for robotic surgery in Greece, having installed the first Da Vinci® robotic system in 2006—a milestone that ushered in a new era for minimally invasive surgery.
Today, the Group operates four Da Vinci® robotic systems—two in Athens and two in Thessaloniki—performing a large number of specialized and complex procedures across a wide range of surgical disciplines.
The Group’s physicians, who possess extensive experience in robotic surgery, leverage the advanced technology of the Da Vinci® systems to perform procedures with absolute precision, minimal trauma, and faster recovery, thereby offering significant benefits to patients.
The expertise, experience, and clinical outcomes of its medical teams place the Athens Medical Group at the forefront of robotic surgery—not only nationally but also internationally.
Athens Medical Center
Da Vinci Xi & Da Vinci X Robotic Systems
The Athens Medical Center is equipped with the Da Vinci® Xi HD (2019 Edition)—the only one of its kind in Greece, having been built to a special order.
It also features the Da Vinci X robotic system.
These robotic systems offer superior flexibility, high-definition 3D visualization, and exceptional surgical precision, supporting a wide range of complex and demanding surgical procedures.
European Interbalkan Medical Center
Da Vinci Si & Da Vinci X Robotic Systems
The Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki was the first hospital in Northern Greece to install the Da Vinci® Si HD robotic system, marking the introduction of robotic surgery to the region.
Furthermore, it is equipped with the Da Vinci® X robotic system, which further enhances its capacity to perform advanced robotic procedures with high levels of precision, safety, and clinical efficacy.
