Free COVID-19 antibody testing for Security Forces personnel in Attica and Thessaloniki
Athens, July 1, 2020 – The BIOIATRIKI, IATRIKO ATHENS and IATROPOLIS Groups, recognizing the very important role of the Hellenic Police, the Coast Guard, and the Fire Department, in these special moments that our country is experiencing, are offering all their staff, based in Attica and Thessaloniki, free IgG antibody testing against the SARS–COV-2virus.
The offer is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility Programs of the three Groups and is a practical expression of gratitude to the personnel of the Security Forces, who are on the front lines to protect us all. The relevant donation has been accepted by the Minister of Health, Mr. Vasilis Kikilias.
The examination will be carried out with a test from the company Abbott, on automatic immunological analyzers.
Faced with the challenges of the new everyday life, the BIOIATRIKI, IATRIKO ATHENS and IATROPOLIS Groups, in good cooperation with the Ministry of Health, will continue the effort towards the health protection of the country, both for the safety of permanent residents and tourists, contributing with all available means to preventing future waves of the pandemic.
